Abstract
Social assistance programs are government initiatives aimed at supporting underprivileged communities in fulfilling their basic needs and improving social welfare. However, inaccurate beneficiary data often results in mistargeted distribution, social jealousy, and declining public trust. This community service activity focuses on improving the accuracy and transparency of social assistance data verification in Dusun Sekaran through the utilization of the Cek Bansos application and educational assistance for RT/RW. The method used is a qualitative descriptive approach, starting with the collection of population administrative data in the form of Family Cards (KK), followed by checking the social assistance status through the Cek Bansos application, data analysis, and digital literacy education for RT/RW. The results show that only a small portion of the collected KK data appeared in the application, indicating that most residents were not registered as beneficiaries because they were categorized as economically capable. The application proved effective in accelerating verification, increasing transparency, and reducing administrative errors. Furthermore, educational activities improved the understanding and independent verification capacity of RT/RW. Overall, the integration of digital applications and community-based education strengthens the social assistance data system to be more accurate, transparent, and targeted.
